Order of a research MBE system in USA

University of California Santa Barbara, USA, has ordered a research MBE system, model C21T, to make research on chalcogenides. This class of materials will have applications in detecting and emitting light in the infrared spectrum, and will serve as tests-beds for a variety of exotic phenomena recently discovered.

The University of California Santa Barbara is world-renowned for its expertise in thin films materials and compounds semiconductors.

This order is set forth to the activity of Riber Inc subsidiary which scale and competencies have been widened with the integration of MBE Control acquired in 2015.
